The Bible teaches that God holds parents responsible to raise, train, and disciple their children. Our goal is to come alongside parents and equip them to fulfill their God-given responsibility. We do this in two ways:

Our First City Kids program takes place on Sunday mornings* for children ages 1-8. Kids experience a safe, fun, and interactive learning environment that includes singing, crafts, and an engaging Bible lesson. For our curriculum, we use The Gospel Project for kids.

Check-in for First City Kids is just to the left of the entrance into Bellevue West (follow the signs directing you to First City Kids check-in).

*On fifth Sundays of the month, all of the children join the adults in the regular worship service as an expression of our being one church family. The service is shortened to one hour, and the kids are included as participants in the liturgy.

FIRST CITY STUDENTS (middle school & high school) aims to create God-honoring community among students, provide a context for mission to non-Christian friends, create opportunities for discipleship, and encourage parents in their discipleship of their children.

Each Sunday evening from 5:00-6:30 students gather to engage in activities such as Bible study, prayer, interactive games, musical worship and small group discussions, all of which seek to promote student growth as disciples of Christ. The youth gathering is led by a team of adult leaders who have demonstrated godly character and who desire to serve and minister to students.
