ECCLESIASTES: the broken pursuit of joy.
Ecclesiastes is a challenging book because it upends many of our expectations about life, faith, joy, and meaning. It gives voice to the many unspoken pains we feel and laments the brokenness that so often frustrates us. But underneath all of that angst is a deep (and hopeful) longing for meaning and satisfaction in life. Ecclesiastes gives much wisdom in our broken pursuit of joy.
